Islamic Waqfs in Jerusalem announced on Friday that they would delay the Eid prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque for one hour, at 7:30 pm.
The Islamic Supreme Council, the Council of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, and the Dar al-Ifta in Jerusalem, called on all imams of Jerusalem mosques to close mosques and perform Eid prayers only in Al-Aqsa Mosque, in response to the occupation´s decisions to prevent worshipers from holding Eid prayers in Al-Aqsa, and opening its doors to settlers´ incursions.
The three bodies stressed in a joint statement on the need to crawl the first day of Eid al-Adha towards Jerusalem, stressing the permissibility of postponing the slaughter of sacrificial animals for the second day of Eid until Al-Aqsa.
The so-called "Temple" organizations and settler associations have called for next Sunday to be the first day of Eid al-Adha, which coincides with the memory of the so-called "ruin of the Temple," a day for the participation of the settler public in the mass incursions of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to participate in the march that will start from the door of Hebron towards Al-Aqsa.
In a related context, the occupation authorities deported Sheikh Najeh Bakirat from the Al-Aqsa Mosque for 6 months, after interrogation for several hours at the Center for investigation Qashleh and also to complete the investigation with him after Eid.
The intelligence of the occupation stormed the homes of Amr Abu Arafa and Mohammed Dakkak in Jerusalem, and wreaked havoc before receiving a summons for investigation on the first day of Eid al-Adha.
