The Ministry of Health announced today, Sunday, three deaths and 1,696 new infections with the Corona virus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, after examining 9,704 samples.
In its statement, the Ministry of Health said that the deaths were recorded in Qalqilya and Nablus, and one case in Gaza, while the new injuries were distributed by 878 in the West Bank (Qalqilya 96, Tulkarm 205, Nablus 294, Jenin 90, Salfit 40, Tubas 21, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 87, Jerusalem suburbs). 4, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 4, Bethlehem 9, Hebron 28), and 818 in Gaza, while 268 cases of recovery were recorded in the West Bank, and 210 in Gaza.
In hospitals and Corona centers in the West Bank, 104 patients are treated, 45 are in intensive care, and 7 are on respirators.
The total number of vaccinated citizens in the West Bank reached 647,271, or 38.4%, and in the Gaza Strip 196,254, or 15.5%, and a total number of 843,525, of whom 452,404 received both doses.
The recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 94.3%, while the percentage of active infections was 4.6%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
