A video of a manhunt between the Spanish police and an Australian emo bird spread, but the end was tragic, describing animal rights defenders.
According to Daily Mail, two members of the Spanish police chased an emo bird in the streets of a town 12 kilometers north of Barcelona.
The chase ended with the capture of the bird who escaped from a farm, but it was immediately in the street from the fatigue that was dominated by a long-distance jogging.
Human rights activists have expressed dissatisfaction with the chase and called on the authorities to open an investigation to identify the owner of the bird and how he arrived in the Spanish city.
Critics argue that police officers need training on appropriate ways to deal with runaway animals.
