Veteran American journalist Larry King is hospitalized with the Coronavirus

The American network, CNN, announced that the famous talk show host Larry King, who worked there for 25 years, was infected with the new Corona virus and was being treated in a Los Angeles hospital more than a week ago.

CNN quoted "a source close to Larry King´s family" that the 87-year-old American journalist was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Larry King is already suffering from type 2 diabetes in addition to other health problems, as he developed lung cancer and suffered several heart attacks and angina due to reduced blood flow to the heart.

Larry King is considered one of the most prominent figures in the history of television in the United States, and was known for his wrapped shirt sleeves, the multicolored ties he wore, and the bras and large glasses.

For 25 years he presented the "Larry King Live" program. In it, he interviewed all American presidents since 1974 and some of the most prominent world leaders, such as the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Russian President Vladimir Putin, in addition to the stars of Kafr Frank Sinatra, Marlon Brando and Barbara Streisand.

Larry King left CNN in 2010. But he continued to conduct interviews and was posting them on his website. In 2012 he launched "Larry King Now" on the online video-on-demand channel "Aura TV" that he co-founded. And in 2013, the revival of the "Politics with Larry King" program began.
