Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren said she was open to the idea of ​​making her country´s aid to Israel conditional on halting its settlement activities in the West Bank.
In a press release, Senator Warren criticized the increase in settlements in the occupied territories.
When asked in Congress about her position on aid and settlement, Warren said that "the official policy of the United States of America is to support the two-state solution."
In July 2020, the United States will see the Democratic primary, which will formally decide the party´s candidate for the ballot, and the next US presidential election is scheduled for November 3, 2020.
