Uprooting 600 trees and damaging 20 water tanks in Hebron

Today, Wednesday, the occupation forces uprooted more than 600 olive trees, damaged 20 water tanks, and demolished several pergolas in Jabal Al-Hardash in the Al-Taybeh area of the town of Tarqumiya for what is called “Adora” and “Telem” settlements, which were forcibly built on citizens’ lands northwest of Hebron.

Local sources said that the ownership of the lands, from which the occupation forces uprooted olive trees, damaged cisterns and demolished pergolas, belongs to the families of Fatafta and Thabayneh.

The attacks of the occupation and settlers in the region aim to steal citizens´ lands and property and displace them from them, to implement new settlement plans, and to expand the settlements of "Adora" and "Telem".

The landowners appealed to all national, human rights and international institutions to intervene immediately and urgently to put an end to these barbaric practices, which indicate the bullying of the occupation authorities and settlers.
