The company  "Mozilla " announced the launch of a new update for its browser  "Firefox ", which is Version 62.0 across various operating systems, both for computer and for smartphones.

The company noted that the new update provides many new changes and features, the most important of which is blocking the tracking of websites for users of the browser, and collecting information about them by default.

This means that once the user loads the browser, it will be protected from automatic site tracking, unless he or she changes the settings.

Hussein al-Omari, a professor of computer science at the University of California, said:  "This feature cannot be considered new or distinctive, since the browser " Google Chrome "has already put it up, so it is a bit old ".

And about the contribution of this feature and other new update features in increasing the share of the browser  "Firefox " from the browsers, Al Omari said in an interview to  "Arabic 21 ":  "As I previously said the feature is outdated, thus will not affect the browser share of the browsers ".

"Yes, there is this feature in other browsers, but the difference is that " Firefox  "makes it the default without user intervention, while " Chrome  "and" Microsoft  "Browser gives the user options to prevent third-party cookies or non-tracking request.

He explained that  "The non-tracking request is not adhered to by some companies, there are many additional applications for Chrome and Microsoft browser to prevent advertisements and to clean up cookies from the third party, without wiping the useful cookies from the companies you are dealing with frequently ".

A new feature, according to the company´s blog, is that the new default tab allows users to view up to 4 rows of the best locations, pocket stories, and highlights.

the tab menu option  "Reopen in box " also shows Reopen in Container for users who have boxes that allow them to choose to reopen a tab in a different box.

Before you remove all trust in Symantec version certificates in Firefox 63, a preference was added that allows users to distrust certificates originating from Symantec.

The company  "Mozilla " in the new update also added support  "Ftebds" for Web authentication"webinfo ".

And also an optimized graphical display for Windows users without hardware acceleration using parallel-off-main-thread Painting.

It is reported that the IOS version has not yet been updated, but it is expected that the update will be provided during the next period for users, and the Firefox v62 version can be easily downloaded from various electronic stores.
