The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees, "UNRWA", announced today, Sunday, the temporary distribution of food aid to refugees in the Gaza Strip.
In a brief statement, UNRWA clarified that this came after the discovery of two new cases of Corona virus emerging in the Gaza Strip.
She indicated that this step is a preventive measure to preserve the safety of both staff and beneficiaries, noting that UNRWA´s food operations will be suspended until a safer method is found, to provide that assistance.
