UNRWA Provides Support to Gaza Families Affected by Israeli Aggression

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Wednesday evening that it will provide support to 96 families whose homes were completely destroyed as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip in May 2021 and August 2022.

UNRWA clarified in a statement that the support involves providing cash assistance to cover transitional shelter rental allowances.

It confirmed that the final installment will be disbursed to 16 other families whose homes suffered significant partial damage during the 2022 aggression.

UNRWA pointed out that starting from Thursday, August 10, 2023, the families will be able to withdraw their mentioned financial entitlements from local banks.
