Farid Abu Azra, the UNRWA education official in Gaza, confirmed on Monday that no scenario has been approved for the new school year yet.
Abu Atheerah said in an interview with the local Jerusalem Radio, that the scenarios that can be adopted regarding the return of students to schools are still being studied, noting that an in-depth field study is being conducted for all scenarios that can be followed in light of the Corona virus crisis.
He pointed out that the academic season will start on the eighth of next August, and it will start with a compensatory process for a month, then start the curriculum.
He indicated that prior to the start of the season, approval will be obtained from the Ministry of Health and the UNRWA Health Program, while ensuring that student parents ’approval is obtained for any scenario that will be adopted.
