US President Donald Trump warned Saturday of an "unprepented collapse" of the stock exchange in the United States if he is not re-elected.
"If someone else takes over, there will be an unpresented market crash," Trump said in a tweet on his Twitter account.
Trump is oftenaving the threat of stock market collapse as a way to rally support for him, the Bloomberg news agency reported on Tuesday.
"If the opposition party (the Democratic Party) had won in 2016, the stock market would have dropped at least 10,000 points now," Trump said in February.
In January, when reports of a move to isolate Trump were raised on the background of investigations into Russian intervention in the 2016 election, he said: "If you want the stock market to collapse, isolate Trump."
