The New York Times said the US administration has decided to stop funding a project that will set up football meetings between Palestinians and Israelis, and also hold meetings between Palestinian and Israeli farmers.
Funding for the project is part of the United States ´ financial assistance to the Palestinian Authority, and US officials told the paper that this is the latest project that continues to receive US funding.
The project is funded by the United States for $10 million, and includes the development of football matches between Palestinian and Israeli girls, and meetings between youths from occupied Jerusalem and settlers.
The project official told the newspaper that the money would go for another project that brings together settlers and Palestinians from the occupied interior.
