US President Donald Trump commented on a report that strongly suggests Israel is behind planting small cellular surveillance devices found near the White House and elsewhere in Washington.
Trump said he did not believe Israel was spying on the United States.
The report of the newspaper "Politico" American reported that the US Federal Bureau of Investigation and other security agencies concluded that Israel has spent the last two years in planting listening devices.
White House officials said it was not yet confirmed whether Israel had received any information.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu´s office denied the accusations and said: "These allegations are false. There is a long-term commitment and guidance from the Israeli government not to engage in any intelligence operations in the United States. This directive is strictly enforced without exception."
