Former US President Donald Trump announced, on Monday, the establishment of an official office in Palm Beach County in Florida to oversee his relations, according to the American "Fox News" network.
A statement issued by the "former president´s office" stated that it would manage Trump´s correspondence, public statements, public appearances, and other official activities and counter attempts to convict him in the Senate.
The office will also work to "support the interests of the United States ... and continue to advance the Trump administration´s agenda through advocacy, organization and public activities."
The announcement came after nine lawmakers submitted the indictment against Trump to the Senate, and Trump faces charges of "inciting violence" in the January 6 storming of the Capitol building.
Trump´s trial in the Senate will begin in the week of February 8.

For his part, US President Joe Biden commented, in a short interview with CNN, yesterday, on the procedures for Trump´s trial in the Senate.
Biden stressed that "the trial must take its course," and stressed the necessity of the trial and its effects on the legislative process and the selection of future candidates for the US administration.
He indicated that the result of not proceeding with the trial would be "worse" than its conduct.
But the US President ruled out that Trump would get the sufficient votes needed to convict him, indicating that the result would have been different had the decision to impeach Trump had come six months before the end of his term.
He added that he does not believe 17 Republican senators will vote to convict Trump.
Biden ended the interview, saying that the Senate "has changed twice since I was in the administration, but it hasn´t changed significantly."
