To compete with Twitter .. Tik Tok launches the feature of text posts only

The Chinese application TikTok for short video clips has launched the feature of writing text-only posts, in an attempt to take advantage of the turmoil in Twitter since the purchase of the famous social networking site by American billionaire Elon Musk last year.

This feature will allow TikTok users to choose between a variety of backgrounds for their text posts that can include tags, as well as the ability to tag other users, according to Reuters.

1000 characters

Technology news site The Verge also reported that new TikTok posts, which are similar to the Instagram Stories feature, have a 1,000-character limit.

It is noteworthy that the CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, had launched "Threads", another text application that could pose a threat to Twitter.

Musk changed Twitter's name to "X" and removed the blue bird logo, in an attempt to create an "app for everything."
