(dpa) The US Treasury on Wednesday included a number of Lebanese entities and individuals on the list of global terrorism.
A statement on the Treasury website stated that the Ministry´s foreign assets control office included 3 Lebanese officials and 12 Lebanese entities on the terrorist list in connection with the Al-Shahid Foundation, which is part of the Hezbollah support network.
The list of punishments included Sheikh Yusuf Abd al-Ridha and Nour al-Din Jawad, for their relationship with the Hezbollah “Martyr” Foundation, as well as the Lebanese Qasim Muhammad Ali Bazzi, CEO of the Atlas Holding Corporation.
