The Prisoners' Affairs Authority: The occupation bears responsibility for the life of the prisoner Hassan Jurdat.

The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority held the administration of the Israeli prisons fully responsible for the life of the prisoner Hassan Jurdat, who continues his open hunger strike for the third consecutive day.

According to the attorney of the authority, Anan Khudair, the prisoner Jurdat, held in the "Hawara Detention Center," could suffer a health setback at any time. He suffers from chronic conditions such as high blood sugar and cholesterol, as well as kidney stones, and he needs to take medications daily. Until now, he has not been examined by a specialist doctor nor provided with the necessary treatment.

Alongside him, ten other prisoners have been continuing their open hunger strike for varying periods, including Sultan Khalouf, Kayed Al-Fasfous, Osama Dakrouq, Mohammed Taysir Zakarna, Anas Ahmed Kamil, Abdul Rahman Iyad Barakat, Zuhdi Talal 'Obaido, Saif al-Din Dhiaab al-'Amareen, and Hatem al-Qawasmi. They are all on strike in protest against their administrative detention.
