The occupying country is the first in the world to kill journalists

The Countercurrents organization in America published a detailed study, in which it clarified that the Israeli occupation state ranked first in the world in killing journalists , violating their rights and prosecuting them.

Within this arrangement, Israel comes first on the scale of killing journalists, by a large margin compared to other global countries that are witnessing continuous wars or in which drug and criminal gangs are active.

The study stated that "on the basis of the average number of journalists killed per 10 million residents annually, the killing of journalists by the Israeli apartheid regime in occupied Palestine tops the world, and is 73.4 times greater than in the world as a whole."

Since 2000, the Israeli occupation has killed 55 Palestinian journalists while doing their journalistic work, the last of them

Journalist Ghufran and Rasna, who was martyred on June 1, after being shot by the occupation soldiers near Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, and journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh, who was martyred by the occupation’s bullets on May 11, during her press coverage in Jenin camp.
