The occupation suppresses an activity rejecting the settlements south of Nablus

On Saturday morning, the Israeli occupation forces cracked down on a popular activity rejecting settlement activity in the Al-Sawiya village, south of Nablus (in the northern West Bank) .

According to local sources, youth groups organized the event and tried to plant trees in the lands of the village threatened with confiscation, but the occupation forces raided the place and fired gas and sound bombs towards the participants in the event and prevented them from planting trees before they expelled them from the area .

The event came in the village of Al-Sawiya, on the occasion of Labor Day, and a refusal of the settler settlement in the West Bank in general, and on the village lands in particular .

The settlements of "Rahalem" and "Eli" devoured approximately 4 thousand dunums of Al-Sawiya lands that exceed 10 thousand dunums .
