A number of citizens were injured yesterday during the occupation forces´ suppression of a protest event in refusal to establish a settlement outpost in the northern town of Asira, north of Nablus.
Dozens participated in the march called by the northern municipality of Asira and the national action factions to hold Friday prayers in the Beit Zaki area of ​​Jabal Ebal, which settlers are seeking to seize.
The occupation forces were present in the area, as well as buses of settlers, preventing the participants from reaching the site, and they fired bullets, sound and tear gas at them.
One of the participants was shot in the foot and taken to hospital, while others were suffocated by tear gas.
