The Israeli occupation forces arrested, this Saturday evening, seven citizens of the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit, after they surrounded and stormed the town.
And local sources reported that the occupation forces closed the entrances to the town at breakfast time, before storming it with the participation of its special units and raiding the homes of citizens Samih Assi and Muhammad Marei.
The mayor of Qarawat Bani Hassan, Ibrahim Assi, said that the occupation forces arrested the citizen Samih Asi and his sons, the freed captive Youssef, after they beat him, Amir (16 years) and Bilal (15 years), after raiding their house and tampering with its contents.
He added that the occupation forces arrested Mohammed Marei and his two sons, Yehia (20 years), and Muntasir, after raiding their house and tampering with its contents.
The sources indicated that confrontations erupted between the citizens and the occupation forces, which fired metal bullets coated with rubber, sound bombs and toxic tear gas towards the citizens and their homes, but no injuries were reported.
