The occupation prevents three Arab journalists from entering the West Bank

The occupation authorities on Friday banned three Arab journalists from entering the occupied West Bank to participate in an international conference held Sunday in Ramallah.

Omar Nazzal, a member of the General Secretariat of the journalists ´ syndicate, said the Israeli authorities refused to issue permits to three Arab journalists, without giving any reasons.

He explained that the journalists were: Naji Bagouri, member of the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Journalists, the captain of Tunisian journalists, and Moroccan journalist Abdallah Bakalji, representative of the General Federation of Arab Journalists, as well as Tunisian journalist Hashemi Nouiri, advisor to the Arab Journalists Union.

He denounced the procedure and described it as "illegal."

The Palestinian journalists ´ syndicate, on Sunday, organizes an international media conference, entitled "Journalists under Fire", with Arab and international participation, to support and delegate Palestinian journalists and their freedom of action and movement.
