The occupation forces flooded 500 dunums of agricultural land east of Gaza City

Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation authorities opened rainwater ferries east of the "Shejaiya" neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and flooded hundreds of agricultural acres.

In a brief statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture said that more than 500 dunums of agriculture were flooded today as a result of the occupation’s opening of rainwater phrases east of Gaza City.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that the Israeli occupation forces have opened rainwater ferries towards the agricultural lands of the citizens, as during the past years they have opened ferries along the border strip, which led to the leveling of soil, the destruction of crops, the destruction of agricultural equipment, and inflicting heavy losses on Palestinian farmers.
