The Israeli police demolished, on Tuesday, the tents of Al-Araqib village residents, unrecognized and threatened with displacement and eviction in the Negev region inside the occupied territories, for the 220th consecutive time.
The Israeli authorities demolished the village's homes made of wood, plastic, and sheet metal most recently on July 17th, the previous year. It's worth noting that the first demolition operation targeting the village took place in July 2010.
This marks the ninth time that Israeli authorities have demolished the tents and homes of Al-Araqib villagers since the beginning of the current year, after demolishing them 15 times in the previous year of 2022, and 14 times in the year before that in 2021.
