The occupation forces demolished a house in the Ashqaria neighborhood of Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem, today, and the foundations of another house in the town of Jabal Al-Mukaber in the south.
The official agency stated that the Israeli occupation forces demolished a house of Jihad Al-Shawamreh, in the Ashqaria neighborhood of Beit Hanina, and arrested its owner during his protest against the demolition process. It also demolished the foundations of a house for a person with a disability in Jabal Al-Mukaber.
She explained that the house of the Al-Shawamra family, which was demolished, houses a family of 7 people. The demolition took place without warning of the alleged construction without the permit.
Nidal Al-Shawamreh said that the occupation demolished the house of his uncle Jihad, who was also arrested by the occupation forces, without allowing the family to empty the contents of the house.
Al-Shaamer added that the area of ​​the targeted house amounted to 120 square meters, and the occupation forces had previously carried out a similar demolition operation of the family home, where the new targeted house was built next to the old house. He considered that the demolition process comes in the context of the hectic Israeli steps to empty the area and expand the outpost at its expense.
In the same context, the occupation army demolished the foundations of a house for Ismail Qaraeen, who is a disabled person.
