The Ministry of Health announced, Monday evening, that the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip as of Sunday evening had reached more than 12,700 martyrs, including about 5,350 children, 3,250 women, and 695 elderly people, while the number of those infected reached more than 30,000.
The Israeli occupation forces continue to besiege the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, targeting everyone who moves in its vicinity.
Medical sources said: The hospital is still besieged by the occupation, and that the drones are targeting everyone who moves in its vicinity with missiles, explaining that they have not been able, until this moment, to remove the 12 martyrs who died this morning from the place, due to the aircraft and artillery bombardment, and the pursuit of the citizens who left. From the hospital, in the Tal al-Zaatar area near the place, and the bodies are still dumped there.
She explained that the sick, wounded, and medical staff are on the lower floor of the hospital as a result of the occupation’s continuous and intense firing of bullets towards the upper floors. She confirmed that the hospital operates with very simple power, on a small generator.
After besieging Al-Shifa Hospital south of Gaza City and putting it completely out of service, the occupation forces besieged, at dawn, the Indonesian Hospital north of the Gaza Strip, and targeted it with artillery shelling, which led to the death of 12 wounded people receiving treatment inside it, and the wounding of two medical personnel.
Medical sources had previously announced that occupation artillery targeted the second floor of the hospital, which is the only one that receives those wounded in the occupation’s aggression on the northern Gaza Strip.
The Indonesian hospital includes thousands of displaced people, and about 700 medical personnel, the wounded, and their companions, and there is a fear that the occupation forces will commit a massacre in the hospital, similar to what happened in the Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
The Israeli occupation forces are besieging the hospital, using dozens of heavy military vehicles and artillery, in an area of less than one kilometre, in addition to the deployment of snipers on the roofs of buildings near the hospital, which prevents ambulances from reaching it to transport the wounded, as it is the only hospital that operates partially in North of the sector.
15 citizens, including children and women, were martyred today, Monday, during the bombing by occupation warplanes on two homes in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that occupation aircraft bombed two homes belonging to the Dhahir and Abu Shalouf families in Rafah, on the heads of those in them, near Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital, which led to the death of 15 residents, most of them children and women, and the injury of dozens, in addition to the presence of dozens under the rubble.
