On Wednesday, Israeli occupying forces arrested 10 Palestinian civilians, including children, after breaking into the villages and towns of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

The head of the "Committee of the people of the Jerusalemites", Amjad Abu Assab, said in a speech to the press that the Israeli occupation forces had arrested Khaled Najaj, his son Yazan (18), the two boys, Amir Karkash, Mohammed Atiyah (17), and the child Ra´ed al-Sayyad (15 years old).

Abu Assab said the arrests were concentrated in the village of Essawiya and the town of Tur, east of Jerusalem.

He noted that the Israeli occupation forces had taken the detainees to Israel´s interrogation centres in the occupied city.

In the West Bank, the Israeli occupation army announced in a statement that it was arresting five other Palestinians from several areas of the occupied West Bank at dawn, raising the number of detainees to 10.

The occupation claimed that the arrests were aimed at "wanted", claiming activities related to the popular resistance against Israeli targets.
