In September, Israeli occupation forces arrested 514 Palestinians from the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including 81 children and 10 female citizens, palestinian human rights organizations reported.
The israeli authorities arrested 175 residents of Jerusalem, 100 from Hebron, 54 from Ramallah and Al-Bireh, and 45 from Nablus.
She noted that 36 arrests were made in Jenin governorate, 25 from Bethlehem, 21 from Tulkarem governorate and 24 from Qalqilya governorate.
The occupation from Tubas governorate arrested 5 citizens, 8 from Salfit governorate, 10 citizens from Jericho governorate, and 11 citizens from Gaza.
As of the end of September 2019, the number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees in israeli jails had reached more than 5,000, including 43 women, about 200 children, and nearly 450 administrative detainees, the foundations said.
She pointed out that 16 prisoners of "mother" of 59 children and 3 are subject to administrative detention, including the prisoner, Haya al-Labidi, who has been on hunger strike since 17 against her administrative detention, in addition to 11 female prisoners detained and 29 who have been sentenced to varying sentences.
According to the same sources, in September, the israeli occupation authorities issued 101 administrative arrest warrants, between Ahad (issued for the first time) and renewal of previously issued orders.
In September, three prisoners, including 32-year-old Haba al-Labidi, and the prisoners Ahmed Zahran and Musab al-Hindi, were also on an open hunger strike.
Nine prisoners in the occupation camps continued their open hunger strike in order to refuse their administrative detention in September; three of them were able to reach agreements to cap their administrative detention in exchange for their suspension.
Six other prisoners continue their hunger strike, including Ahmed Ghannam, an 89-day striker, Ismail Ali Bat, 79 days ago, and Tarek Qadan 72 days ago.
The administration of the occupation prisons and the judiciary continues to implement systematic policies against the strikers by isolating them, detaining them in cells unfit for human life, and depriving them of their most basic human rights.
