Chiranjevi Sarja, the famous Indian actor, died at the age of 39, according to the US CNN website on Monday.
PS Yediurapa, Prime Minister of the Indian state of Karnataka, said that Sarja, who has starred in 20 films, including the famous Amma I Love You movie, died from a heart attack.
Yediurapa tweeted Sunday, "It is a shock to hear the news of the death of the famous artist, Shri Cherangevi Sarja, from a heart attack. Early death at the age of 39 is very shocking."
Sarja, who also starred in Whistle and Varadanayaka, comes from a family of actors. He is the nephew of actor Arjun Sarja and the grandson of veteran actor Shakti Prasad, according to the Hindustan Times. He married actress Megana Raj in 2018.
After broadcasting the news of his death, many of Sarja´s fans posted their condolences over his latest photo on his Instagram account, in which he appeared with his brother and is also a famous actor.
A fan commented: "A tragic loss of Indian cinema. We all miss you."
On the social media, a number of movie stars also expressed their grief over Sarga´s sudden death.
"I was shocked to hear the news of Chiranjevi Sarja´s death," actress Priyamani tweeted, "I can never forget his smiling face."
