The conclusion of the meeting of national security advisers on the Ukrainian crisis

On Saturday, Muharram 18, 1445 AH, corresponding to August 5, 2023 CE, a meeting was held in Jeddah for national security advisors and representatives of more than forty countries and international organizations, including the United Nations, headed by His Excellency the Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban. The participants expressed their thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for calling and hosting this meeting.


 This meeting comes as a continuation of the good efforts and endeavors of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which His Highness has been exerting in this regard since March 2022.


 It should be noted that the countries and organizations that participated in the meeting chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are: the Argentine Republic, Australia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Bulgaria, Canada, the Republic of Chile, the People's Republic of China, the United Republic of the Comoros, the Czech Republic, the Kingdom of Denmark, Arab Republic of Egypt, Republic of Estonia, European Commission, Council of Europe, Republic of Finland, French Republic, Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of India, Republic of Indonesia, Italian Republic, Japan, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, State of Kuwait, Republic of Latvia, Republic of Lithuania, Netherlands, Kingdom Norway, the Republic of Poland, the State of Qatar, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Romania, the Slovak Republic, the Republic of South Africa, the Kingdom of Spain, the Kingdom of Sweden, the Republic of Turkey, Ukraine, the State of the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United Nations, and the United States of America.


 The participants agreed on the importance of continuing international consultation and exchanging views in a way that contributes to building common ground that paves the way for peace. They also expressed the importance of benefiting from the positive opinions and proposals that were discussed in the meeting.
