Suffocation injuries as a result of the occupation suppressing the weekly Kafr Qaddoum march

Dozens of citizens suffocated today, Friday, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces´ suppression of the weekly Kafr Qaddoum march, against settlements and demanding the opening of the village street, which has been closed for nearly 18 years.

The media spokesman for Qalqilya region, Murad Shteiwi, stated that the occupation soldiers stormed the town before the start of the march, while performing Friday prayers at Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque, and took over the roofs of citizens´ houses and used them for their snipers, noting that clashes broke out after the prayer, during which the soldiers fired tear gas and sound bombs. As a result, dozens of citizens suffocated, and they were treated in the field.

The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Minister Walid Assaf, participated in the march, and a crowd of citizens who chanted patriotic slogans calling for an escalation of popular resistance in the country´s governorates.
