Statistics: The Israeli navy has arrested 31 fishermen from Gaza since the beginning of the year

 According to a statistic issued by the General Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Navy has arrested 31 fishermen since the beginning of this year off the coast of the Gaza Strip.

 

The statistic indicated that 3 fishermen are still detained: Mahmoud Bakr, Ahmed Al-Fasih, and Muhammad Al-Silawi.

 

She pointed out that the occupation confiscated 8 "Hasakat" boats and a "launch" boat, and wounded 14 fishermen with rubber-coated metal bullets, one of them in the head, fisherman Ahmed Al-Saidi, in early March.

 

The occupation navy fires almost daily at fishermen´s boats, injuring and arresting a number of them, under the pretext that they crossed the fishing zone, which reaches 6 miles in the north and 15 in the south.
