South Korea and the United States are due to hold their joint working group meeting on North Korea on Thursday in Washington, South Korea´s KBSWorld reported on Wednesday.
An official source at the Foreign Ministry in Seoul said on Tuesday that the two countries would exchange information on recent developments in inter-Korean relations and the United States. The two sides will also have in-depth discussions on outstanding issues, including inter-Korean cooperation projects.
The two sides will also exchange assessments on recent activities at North Korea´s Dung Chung-ri missile test site and inter-Korean economic projects, including visits by South Korean businessmen to North Korea.
A delegation headed by Director of the Peace Bureau of the Korean Foreign Ministry will leave for Washington on Wednesday to attend the talks.
