Settlers take over an agricultural road and cut down olive trees in Salfit

settlers cut olive trees this evening, Monday, and demolished a number of stone chains, after they seized an agricultural road used by farmers west of Haris village, northwest of Salfit.

Local sources said: Settlers from "Rafafa" settlement, established on the lands of the village and the neighboring town of Deir Istia, cut down trees belonging to Aisha Qassem, demolished stone chains and destroyed lands owned by the late Youssef Souf´s sons.

By taking over the road and expanding it, the settlers aim to find an alternative way for them, even though they have a road to the settlement.
