Settlers storm Al-Aqsa, with the Israeli police escort

On Tuesday morning, settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy security from the Israeli occupation police.

The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem stated that 39 settlers stormed the "Al-Aqsa" squares from the Mughrabi Gate, in groups, and carried out provocative tours, until they left it from the Bab Al-Silsila side.

Settlers storm the mosque´s squares every day, except on Friday, which falls on the weekly holiday for Muslims, and Saturday, which falls on a weekly holiday for Jews.

Since 2003, the occupation authorities have allowed settlers to storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite successive protests by the Islamic Endowments Department.
