settlers cut down, on Saturday evening, a number of olive trees in the village of Kafr al-Deek, west of Salfit.
Local sources reported that settlers from "Brokhin" settlement cut down about 15 olive trees on the northern side of the town of Kafr Al-Deek in the area known as "Al-Mars" owned by Awni Hamdan.
For his part, the Governor of Salfit Abdullah Kamil denounced this new aggression by settlers and held the occupation government fully responsible for the repeated attacks by settlers.
He called on citizens to cling to the land, to arm itself and cultivate it, and not to allow the occupation and its settlers to impose a fait accompli policy and pass their settlement plans.
