President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in New York City on Monday to attend the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to the official agency, President Abbas is scheduled to deliver a keynote address to the United Nations General Assembly next Thursday (27 September) and during his stay in New York he will also meet with a number of world leaders and heads of delegations participating in the work of the General Assembly.
He is accompanied by President Abbas, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the PLO Saeb Erekat, deputy Prime Minister Ziad Abu Amr, Minister of Foreign Affairs and expatriates Riyad al-Maliki, and advisor to the President for diplomatic affairs Majdi al-Khaldi.
