Photojournalist injured in Kafr Kaddoum clashes

On Friday, a photojournalist was injured during clashes in the village of Kafr Kadum, east of Qalqilya.

Our correspondent reported that AFP photographer Jaafar Ashteh was wounded in the leg during the clashes in Kafr Kadum, which broke out after Friday prayers from the village mosques and the weekly march towards the entrance, which has been closed since 2003.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that israeli soldiers targeted all those who participated in the march with tear gas, metal, rubber and plastic bullets, and the photojournalist was sniped in the leg while he was doing his work and filming the confrontations.
