Palestine students compete vigorously at the Intel International Science Fair in Arizona

Palestinian students who have won their five projects at the Palestine Science and Technology Fair in 2019 began their strong participation at the 2016 International Intel Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Arizona, with 1,800 students in the fields of scientific research. Students´ projects aim to solve problems in their communities.

The participation of Palestinian students in five innovative projects in the fields of technology, environment and engineering is a qualitative achievement for Palestine: Water Quality Detector Fatima Muhannad Qurei and "Do I Need an Antibiotic?" Majd Fawaz Ayyad and Haya Ibrahim Abu Hilal, the optical robot project of Lama Ala Abed and the mobile project for students Nada Reza Hamada and Yasmin Jawad Daeik and the glasses project for the Blind for students Qusay Abu Reda and Mohammed Yacoub Odeh.

In this context, Minister of Education Marwan Awartani stressed the importance of student participation in this exhibition, which emphasizes the spirit of perseverance and excellence among Palestinian students in various fields of science and technology. He expressed the hope that these students will get advanced positions in this exhibition to keep the name of Palestine present International forums.
