The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, this morning, Friday, that it had recorded one death and 178 new cases of Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The ministry indicated in its daily report that the death was the citizen Farid Abdel Nabi (53 years), a resident of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, who was receiving treatment at the European Gaza Hospital and suffering from esophageal cancer.
And it indicated that 135 new recoveries were recorded among the injured.
It stated that the central laboratory examined 2,293 new samples during the same period.
The total number of people infected with the virus in the Gaza Strip since last March reached 6,347, of whom 2,377 are active cases, 3,937 recovered, and 33 deaths.
