Today, Friday, the Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded a death, 397 new cases of the emerging "Corona" virus, and 442 recoveries during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus in Palestine, May Al-Kailah, Minister of Health, said today, Friday, that one death of a 79-year-old citizen in the Hebron governorate has been recorded.
She added that the new infections were distributed in the governorates as follows:
Hebron (35).
Nablus (35).
Bethlehem (34).
Qalqilya (18).
Ramallah and Al-Bireh (36).
Jenin (20).
Jericho and Al Aghwar (24).
Tubas (5).
Tulkarm (43).
Gaza Strip (74).
Suburbs of Jerusalem (10), City of Jerusalem (63), indicating that 3,829 examinations were performed.
Regarding the cases of recovery, Al-Kailah indicated that they were distributed in the governorates according to the following:
Hebron (144).
Jenin (34).
Tulkarm (43).
Qalqilya (14).
Nablus (51).
Gaza (50).
The City of Jerusalem (106).
She explained that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine amounted to 87.6%, while the rate of active infections reached 11.6%, and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 41 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 6 patients on artificial respirators.
