Occupation suppresses peaceful marches in Ramallah and Qalqilya

Israeli occupation forces on Friday suppressed peaceful Palestinian popular events in Ramallah and Qalqilya in the northern West Bank, denouncing settlement settling and the confiscation of Palestinian land.


According to our correspondent, the israeli occupation forces attacked dozens of citizens who were present in the area of Ain Harsha, which is threatened with confiscation, in the village of Al-Mazra al-Gharbi, northwest of Ramallah.


After Friday prayers, dozens of villagers and their supporters went to the lands of The Harsha area to confirm their eligibility and reject the practices of the occupation and settlers.


The occupying forces stormed the area, firing bullets, gas bombs and sound at the citizens, but no injuries were reported.
The Area of Haraisha, which has a historical water eye and is constantly attacked by settlers and israeli soldiers in a camp nearby.


The occupation authorities are preventing the inhabitants of the Western Farm from building in the area, in an attempt to seize it.


In the context, dozens of citizens were suffocated today as a result of the israeli occupation forces attacking participants in the weekly Kafr Kaddoum march, which is against settlement and demanding the opening of the village street, which has been closed for 16 years.


According to The People´s Resistance Coordinator in Kafr Kaddoum, Mourad Shteiwi, israeli soldiers attacked the marchers and fired live bullets at them, rubber-coated metal and tear gas canisters.


He noted that the occupation´s repression of the peace process resulted in dozens of suffocations, and "they were treated in the field at the kafr Kaddoum ambulance center."
