Occupation blatantly targets Palestinian at Gaza border

According to local sources, a Palestinian was targeted "trying to infiltrate" from the southern border of the Gaza Strip towards Kibbutz Nerim.

According to the spokesman of the Occupation Army, the occupying forces "monitored through security cameras the infiltration of the gunman, and a rocket was fired at him, causing him to be directly injured."

Witnesses in Gaza said they heard an explosion near the Al-Seraj gate area near the northeastern border of Khanyounis in the southern Gaza Strip, while Palestinian medical crews later transported a Palestinian citizen who was slightly injured and panicked as a result of the shelling at the eastern border. The Israeli army said it had targeted a "Palestinian gunman" with a rocket at the scene.

Israeli aircraft flew over the area.
