The first samples of the Hebrew channels showed, on Monday evening, a remarkable advantage for the Likud party and the right-wing bloc at the expense of "blue-white" and the center and left bloc in the 23 Knesset elections.
According to the public broadcaster, "Reshet Can", the samples showed that Likud won 36 seats, 33 for a blue-white party, 15 for the joint Arab list, while the Shas party won 9 seats, 8 for the UTJ, 7 for the right-wing party, and 6 for each From the Yisrael Beiteinu party and the leftist bloc that includes the Labor (Bridge-Meretz) parties, while the Jewish Force party did not exceed the percentage of the discount.
Thus, the right-wing bloc obtained 60 seats, while the center-left bloc won 54 seats, without counting what was obtained by Avigdor Lieberman´s "Israel Our Home" party.
A sample of the Hebrew Channel 13 showed that the Likud party won 37 seats, compared to 32 for the Blue-White party, 14 seats for the Joint Arab List, 9 for the Shas Party, 8 Israel Beitenu, the same as the United Torah Judaism, and 7 right-wing parties.
While a sample of Channel 12 showed that Likud 37, blue-white 33, joint 14, Lieberman´s party 6, Shas 9, and Judaism of Judaism 7, were similar to the right-wing party and the leftist bloc.
The variation in the initial samples indicates that the right-wing bloc needs one or two seats to form the next government alone, which means that it may resort to negotiations with the Lieberman Party, which previously said that it does not exclude joining a new government headed by Netanyahu.
The voting rate reached about 67%, the highest rate since 1999, while the joint list achieved its highest seats in very long years.
And 29 different lists competed in the new round of elections, which took place for the third time in a year, after the Israeli parties failed to reach an agreement to form a government.
The elections were held in April and September last, and neither the right or the center and the left blocs succeeded in forming a new government, amid sharp differences in positions on some internal and external issues.
