Mladenov calls on Israel to stop the policy of destroying residential buildings

After the coordinator of the Middle East peace process, Nikolai Mladenov , on Monday, the Israeli occupation authorities demolished the ten apartments in the town of Sur Baher east of Jerusalem .

"Despite calls not to proceed with the demolition, the destruction of residential buildings in Sur Baher will lead to the displacement of many Palestinian families," Mladenov said in a twitter interview.

Mladenov added that "no amount of humanitarian aid can compensate for their suffering," and called on Israel to immediately stop this policy "

On Monday morning, large Israeli occupation forces began demolishing houses in Wad al-Homs area in the town of Sur Bahir, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.

The head of the wall and settlement resistance, Walid Assaf, said in a press statement that a two-story building was demolished and another one consisting of several floors in preparation for demolition.

Assaf considered the demolitions a war crime, the largest since 1967, and more than 100 apartments as a first stage. If this is done, it will be another demolition in the region will include about 225 other apartments, so far no decision.
