Miss Jamaica Tony-Anne Singh was crowned Miss World title during the contest in the British capital London, which included contestants from 111 countries.
Competition referee Pierce Morgan, Singh, 23, won the title Saturday night at the closing ceremony, which included fascinating celebrations.
The concert, presented by Peter André and actress Megan Young, concluded a three-week festival in which 111 contestants competed in a series of quick events to find a place among the 30 most beautiful girls.
These challenges, which have been tested beauty queens, included multimedia, sports and talents, and also included "a journey through some of London´s most famous landmarks covering its rich culture and heritage," according to the "Miss World" website.
