The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, said that the time has come for the international community, especially the Security Council, to insist on compliance with international law without exception, and to take clear measures of accountability in light of Israel´s flagrant violations of human rights and crimes The war against the Palestinian people.
This came during the three identical messages sent by Mansour, today, Friday, to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the Security Council for this month (Gabon), and the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations, for the second day in a row, due to the continued killing of Palestinians by the Israeli occupation forces. in occupied Palestine.
He noted that the Israeli occupation forces and the settlers´ militia are relentlessly harassing, intimidating and provoking the Palestinian people.
Mansour indicated that the occupation forces targeted Jenin camp again, which led to the death of a young man and a doctor who were trying to rescue the wounded Palestinians, noting the death of Dr. Abdullah Al-Ahmad Abu Al-Teen, 43, who was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers in front of Jenin Governmental Hospital, and the young man Matin Dabbaya, 20, and two paramedics were injured while trying to reach the wounded Palestinian civilians.
Mansour stressed that the international community cannot remain silent while the Israeli occupation continues to target innocent Palestinian civilians.
