The Press Syndicate said it had documented 36 reports of violations by Hamas members against journalists in the Gaza Strip over the past two days.
The union said in a press statement on Sunday that among the violations were 17 cases of arrests, 10 were released and 7 were still in detention, 7 cases of beatings and the seizure of cell phones and work equipment.
She noted that 12 journalists and journalists received summons and threats of house arrest, 6 cases of summons, 4 threats and 2 cases of house arrest for four days.
The union condemned the continued violations committed by the Hamas authorities against journalists in the Gaza Strip and continued to arrest collections and summon others.
She said that the journalist colleague Osama Kahlout is still detained for four days in difficult health conditions as a result of the attack by Hamas, and arrested yesterday evening journalist Ihab Phosphos, who suffers a heart attack.
The union renewed its demand that Hamas immediately and unconditionally release all journalists still in detention in its jails: Ahmed Shoodoud, Majed Qudaih, Ihab Fasfous, Jumaa Dallul, Mustafa Dahdouh, Ahmed Al Shanbari and Usama Al Kahlout.
