Johnson promises to leave the EU on Oct. 31 "whatever the cost"

Britain´s new prime minister, Boris Johnson, promised on Wednesday that Brixt would complete the October 31 "whatever the cost."

He also promised in a speech to the government after he was officially assigned to his duties by Queen Elizabeth II, "with a new agreement" with Brussels.

After his appointment, Johnson, who led the campaign to leave the EU in the 2016 referendum, delivered a speech in which he stressed the need to respect the outcome of the referendum.

"We´re going to have a new deal," Johnson said. "A better deal would increase BRICST´s chances."

"I have full confidence that we will be able to do so in 99 days ... The British people have waited long enough."

The leader of the Conservative Party in his 12-minute speech revealed a range of domestic policies.

"I will be personally responsible for the change I want to see," he said as his friend Carrie Simmonds stood with his team of aides.

"Forget the safety net, it´s over."

"What has really weakened business confidence is not the decisions we have taken, but our refusal to make decisions."

"Precast was a decision by the British people, who wanted the laws to put the people who elected them and they could get them out of office."

"We must respect this decision."
