Israeli soldiers destroy a shop near the Tomb of the Patriarchs

The occupation army attacked today a shop in the city of Hebron, located in the area of Sahla south of the Ibrahimi Mosque, which belongs to the citizen Ghassan Izz al-Din Abu Hadid al-Sharif.

The owner of the shop said that Israeli soldiers smashed the glass of refrigerators and some shelves before asking him to close the shop and warn him of the consequences of reopening.

Mohammed Ibrahim Abu Hadid, 83, was also injured by bruises in his hand and was injured as a result of the soldiers assaulting him while they stormed the shop.

Director General of Hebron Rehabilitation Committee Imad Hamdan stated that this incident clearly demonstrates the exchange of roles between the settlers and the Israeli soldiers in their attacks on the property of the Palestinian citizens in the Old City and their continuous violations of the Palestinian human rights by living there freely and with dignity.

Hamdan also pointed out that the attack on shops near the Ibrahimi Mosque has increased in recent days. A few days ago, Abdul Ra´ouf shop was attacked and shops of pottery and pottery were broken. The soldiers arrested one of the shop owners opposite the Ibrahimi Mosque building, After paying a fine.

Hamdan pointed out that this occupation policy comes within the framework of the overall plan aimed at displacing the Palestinian citizens through various means of pressure and intimidation from the geographical enclave of the area extending from the Kiryat Arba settlement in the east through the plain and the Haram Ibrahimi to Shuhada Street and Tel Rumeida westward. And surrounded by military barriers and crossing gates to be able to control and judaize.
